Torque Calculator
Calculate drive torque, power, or speed — select the desired quantity and enter the known values.
Calculate
What do you want to determine?
Formula
P = M × n / 9550
n = P × 9550 / M
P = Power [kW]
n = Speed [min⁻¹]
9550 = conversion constant (60 × 1000 / 2π ≈ 9549.3)
Example Calculation
Motor with P = 7.5 kW at n = 1,450 min⁻¹:
M = 7.5 × 9,550 / 1,450 ≈ 49.4 Nm
Note: The formula applies to mechanical continuous power. For startup torque and thermal limit torque, additional factors must be taken into account.
Notice: The calculation tools provided are intended for initial orientation only and do not replace binding engineering design by qualified specialists. All results must be verified by appropriate engineering calculations before use in safety-critical applications.
